If you’re eligible to participate, you can schedule a prescription fill with or without a video visit, depending on your state.
After choosing your prescription fill type, you’ll sign up for one of our monthly subscription services. Once paid, you’ll create an account password (your username is your email address). The next step is completing your health history intake form, accessible after creating your password. If not completed, you’ll receive an email reminder to finish it via the portal.
During your first appointment, your provider will review your health goals, medical history, order any necessary lab tests, and may prescribe weight loss medication. They will work with you to create a personalized health plan, which may include medication and lifestyle recommendations.
As you start the medication, you can schedule regular check-ins to monitor progress, adjust your treatment, and refill prescriptions as needed.
Weight loss results can vary depending on factors like your starting weight, medical conditions, lifestyle changes, and the specific medication used. Many individuals taking GLP-1 medications for 68 weeks or more have reported losing up to 15% of their initial body weight with healthy lifestyle changes. Newer GLP-1 and GIP agonist medications have shown an average weight loss of 20%.
At this time, patients have to be at least 18 years old to participate in the program.
There are three subscription types available, each including comprehensive coaching and services with no hidden fees, membership costs, or lab charges. Each plan provides regular virtual consultations with a clinician, prescription management and renewals (if applicable), support with insurance coverage for medications, and access to 1:1 nutritionist coaching, ongoing chat support, and health guides.
Subscription charges may appear on your credit card as “Fridays” “Fridays Health” or “OpenLoop Healthcare Partners.”
Brand name medication pricing is based on insurance coverage.
Your clinical care team will work with you to identify the most affordable and suitable medication based on your health requirements and insurance coverage. GLP-1 prescriptions are usually more cost-effective when covered by insurance, but the exact expense will depend on your insurance plan. If you are uninsured, underinsured, or if the medication is not covered by your insurance, your provider may assist you in finding a prescription discount card or an alternative medication that is more cost effective.
If insurance or discount cards cannot be applied, the cost of GLP-1 prescription medications may range from $900 to $1,400 per month for branded options. Alternatively, compounded Semaglutide is available for $249/month (all doses), and compounded Tirzepatide for $359/month (all doses). The prices for compounded medications are all-inclusive, with no additional fees.
Please note that Fridays does not directly sell GLP-1’s or other medications, and you can fill your prescriptions at the pharmacy of your choice.
